SATA - serial more speed then parallel data transmission
Solid State Drive - the new faster and no movable parts storage drive but more expensive now, perhaps cheaper in the future
Blue-ray Disk - huge space these days on optical disks
If you have no floppy drive, on your PC, but you have to get data from a floppy disk, you can buy a USB connected floppy drive
Tape drives used now for backup, no as a tape recorder or for cassette deck like in the past
